TabSquare Reviews in Singapore (2026): What Users Say and What to Check

Public reviews of TabSquare are thin. Here is every rating we could find, platform by platform, what TabSquare says about itself, and a checklist to use before you sign.

Disclosure: ChaChaCha publishes this page and is a POS vendor, powered by AppsPOS, so we compete with TabSquare in some areas. Ratings come only from public pages we read on 29 September 2026. TabSquare facts come only from its own website. We have not tested TabSquare.

  • The public review record for TabSquare is very thin. G2 shows one review, and G2 itself says there are not enough reviews for buying insight.
  • We found no TabSquare listing on Capterra, GetApp or Trustpilot, and its merchant apps on Google Play and the App Store show no public ratings.
  • With so little independent feedback, reference calls with current TabSquare restaurants matter more than star ratings.
  • Use the checklist below before you sign.

Last reviewed: September 2026

If you are shortlisting TabSquare for QR ordering, tablet menus or a kiosk, you will probably search for “tabsquare reviews” and expect a page of star ratings. You will not find many. TabSquare mostly sells to restaurant groups through its own sales team, and its merchant apps are installed by restaurants rather than rated by diners, so the usual review sites have little to say. This page collects every public rating we could find, summarises the themes in our own words, sets out what TabSquare states about itself and lists the questions to ask before you sign. For pricing and options, see our TabSquare pricing explainer and our TabSquare alternatives guide.

How we gathered these reviews

On 29 September 2026 we checked G2, Capterra, GetApp, Trustpilot, Google Play (Singapore) and the App Store (Singapore) for TabSquare listings, reading the pages that block automated fetching in a normal browser. We recorded the platform, the score, the review count and the date. We did not check TabSquare’s Google Business Profile for this page, so look it up yourself if office-level feedback matters to you. We summarise review content in our own words, and we have not used TabSquare ourselves. Ratings change, and a single review can move an average a long way, so treat every figure below as a snapshot.

Public ratings by platform

Capterra No TabSquare listing in search results. None None
GetApp No TabSquare listing found. None None
Trustpilot No TabSquare company page in search results. None None
Google Play (SG) “Smart Kiosk Tabsquare” and “Tabsquare Console”, both 1K+ downloads. No public rating shown None shown

The one G2 review is dated 15 September 2021 and is marked as incentivised and gathered through a G2 invitation, so it is old and the reviewer was prompted to write it. One review cannot show what most restaurants experience. The app store listings are merchant tools, used by restaurant staff and kiosks rather than downloaded by diners, which explains why they carry no ratings.

What reviewers say: themes

With only one public review, there are no reliable patterns, so read this as one person’s view rather than a trend.

  • Praise: the reviewer found the menu content system easy to use, especially for uploading photos, editing descriptions and changing the menu layout while digitising a restaurant menu. They credited the system with less manual order-taking and more upselling.
  • Complaint: the reviewer found the upfront hardware cost high at the start, though they felt it paid off over several years.

Those two points are worth testing yourself. Ask for a hands-on session with the menu editor, and ask for a full quote that separates hardware, software and transaction fees so you can see the upfront cost clearly.

What TabSquare says about itself

These are TabSquare’s own claims, not independent reviews. Its home page says it is trusted by more than 7,000 restaurants across Asia and beyond, and describes a guest journey built from its Vibe QR menu, SmartPay payment at the table and Munchmate personalised recommendations and messages. The home page also publishes TabSquare’s own percentage figures for shorter wait times, higher average bill value and faster table turns. Those figures are vendor-reported, and the page does not explain how they were measured, so ask TabSquare for the basis and for restaurants you can call. Its Google Play kiosk listing similarly makes a sales uplift claim in TabSquare’s own words.

The About page lists 10 countries, with Singapore first, followed by Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Thailand, the Philippines, New Zealand and Brunei, and says TabSquare is part of the Delivery Hero family. The home page says it integrates with POS systems, payment providers and delivery platforms. For how it stacks up against an online ordering and reservations platform, read Oddle versus TabSquare.

Its pricing page shows four plans by outlet count, with no amounts: Starting Out (1 to 3 outlets), Growing Hot (4 to 10), Scaling Up (11 to 30) and Industry Leader (30 and more). Transaction fees fall as you move up. Starting Out runs without POS integration; sending orders to a POS and delivery partner integration start at Growing Hot; custom POS integration, a dedicated account manager and a 99.9% uptime commitment come with Industry Leader. We did not see customer testimonials on the pages we reviewed; if TabSquare shares any in a pitch, remember they are vendor-selected.

What to check before you sign

  • References: ask for two or three Singapore restaurants of your size and format, and call them without TabSquare on the line.
  • POS integration: which POS do you use, and is it supported on your plan? The pricing page places sending orders to a POS from the Growing Hot plan up. If you want QR ordering inside the POS instead, see our TabSquare and Qashier head-to-head.
  • Full cost: a written quote covering hardware, software, transaction fees, set-up and any per-outlet charges. Our pricing explainer covers what to ask.
  • Payments: which payment methods SmartPay supports, including PayNow and NETS, and how settlement and reconciliation work.
  • Delivery: which delivery platforms integrate, and on which plan.
  • Offline: what happens to QR orders and table payments if the internet drops mid-service.
  • Performance claims: how the published uplift figures were measured, and whether you can see results from a comparable restaurant.
  • Support: hours, response times and whether you get a named contact at your plan level.
  • Contract and data: term, notice period and how you export menus, orders and guest data if you leave.
  • Grants: Enterprise Singapore’s EDGE Grant page says PSG, EDG and MRA cease on 29 September 2026, with support of up to 70% for SMEs from 30 September and levels that differ by activity. Ask how TabSquare fits, and check eligibility before paying.

How to read thin reviews

A thin review record is not a warning sign by itself. Enterprise restaurant software is often sold through demos and contracts rather than app stores, and happy restaurant groups rarely post on review sites. It does mean you have to do the checking yourself. Weight a structured reference call above any single rating, ask each reference what went wrong in the first three months and how quickly it was fixed, and test the product during a busy service rather than a quiet afternoon. Apply the same standard to every vendor on your list, including us.

Comparing TabSquare with other options

TabSquare focuses on the guest-facing layer: QR menus, table payment, kiosks and personalised marketing, connected to a POS. If you are also weighing a full counter and kitchen POS, our TabSquare vs ChaChaCha comparison looks at the two side by side, and TabSquare vs Eats365 compares it with another restaurant platform. ChaChaCha, powered by AppsPOS, is a Singapore F&B-first POS with QR ordering for dine-in and pre-order, a self-order kiosk with a built-in card terminal, a KDS and payments including PayNow, PayLah! and NETS. Pricing is quote-based, so contact us for a quote, and ask us for references too.

Frequently asked questions

Are there many TabSquare reviews online?

No. When we checked on 29 September 2026, G2 showed one review at 4.0 out of 5 and said there were not enough reviews for buying insight. We found no TabSquare listing on Capterra, GetApp or Trustpilot, and its merchant apps on Google Play and the App Store showed no public ratings.

What do TabSquare users praise and criticise?

The only public review we found praised the menu content system for making photo, text and layout changes easy, and credited it with less manual order-taking and more upselling. It criticised the upfront hardware cost, while saying it paid off over time. One review is not a trend, so ask for references.

Is TabSquare available in Singapore?

Yes. TabSquare's About page lists 10 countries with Singapore first, and its Google Play and App Store merchant apps are published by TabSquare Pte Ltd. It also says it is part of the Delivery Hero family. Ask TabSquare for Singapore restaurant references of a similar size and format to yours.

How much does TabSquare cost?

TabSquare's pricing page shows four plans by outlet count, from Starting Out for one to three outlets up to Industry Leader for more than 30, but it publishes no amounts. Transaction fees fall on higher plans. Ask for a written quote covering hardware, software, transaction fees and set-up before comparing.

Are the performance figures on TabSquare's website independent?

No. The percentage figures for wait times, bill value and table turns are published by TabSquare itself, and the page does not explain how they were measured. Treat them as vendor claims. Ask TabSquare for the method and for a comparable restaurant you can call to check the results.

What should I check before signing with TabSquare?

Call independent references, confirm your POS is supported on your plan, get a full written quote, check payment methods including PayNow and NETS, confirm delivery integrations, test offline behaviour, agree support levels and understand the contract term and data export. Ask how it fits the EDGE Grant before paying.
