A POS System for Every Kind of Business

F&B is where ChaChaCha started. The same system also runs retail stores, salons, clinics and service businesses across Singapore.

One platform, set up for how you work

Every business sells differently. Restaurants need table maps and a kitchen display, boutiques need size and colour variants, and salons need appointments and packages. ChaChaCha runs on one core platform for payments, inventory, customers and reports, with tools built for each industry on top.

Built for Singapore

PayNow, SGQR, NETS and cards come as standard, and GST and service charge are handled correctly. Our team is local and onboards you in person. Hardware is supplied by AppsPOS as part of your package, and we can tell you which grant support applies to your setup.

How ChaChaCha adapts to your industry

A POS system in Singapore has to fit the way a business actually sells. ChaChaCha does this by switching on the tools each industry needs, on top of one shared platform.

Food and beverage

Table management, split bills and tabs, modifiers, a kitchen display with station routing, QR ordering, GrabFood integration, queue numbers with SMS and recipe-level inventory. English and Chinese kitchen tickets for mixed-language crews.

Retail

Barcode scanning, size and colour variants, member pricing, exchanges, stock across outlets, purchase orders, low-stock alerts and a retail kiosk mode for self-checkout.

Beauty and services

An appointments calendar, prepaid packages, stored value, staff commissions, deposits and invoices for salons, spas, clinics and other service businesses.

Each industry has its own set of pages with more detail, shown above. If your business crosses lines, such as a café with a retail shelf or a salon that sells products, one system covers both.

What stays the same in every industry

Whatever you sell, the core of the system is shared. That means one set of habits for your team and one set of numbers for you.

  • Payments: PayNow, PayLah!, NETS, Visa, Mastercard and GrabPay, with split payments and automatic reconciliation
  • Customers: loyalty points and stamps, stored value, vouchers, birthday rewards and WhatsApp marketing
  • Reports: sales by product, staff, outlet and payment method, with an ERP view for head office
  • Accounting: sales sent to Xero, so your accountant is not re-keying figures
  • Help on WhatsApp: the AppsPOS AI agent, reachable in the app you already use
  • Hybrid offline mode: the POS keeps taking orders if the internet drops and syncs when it is back
  • Staff permissions and an English or Chinese interface

Why ChaChaCha is powered by AppsPOS

ChaChaCha runs on AppsPOS, built by AppsPOS Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. AppsPOS has worked with Singapore businesses since 2013 and also serves outlets in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia.

For you, that means software that has been through years of real service, and a local team that supplies the hardware, sets up your system and supports you afterwards. Hardware includes POS terminals, self-order kiosks with a built-in card terminal and Epson cloud printers.

Hardware supplied for every setup

We supply the hardware as part of your package, so you are not matching devices from different sellers. What you need depends on the business:

  • POS terminals for the counter, host stand or reception
  • Self-order kiosks with a built-in card terminal, for F&B ordering or retail self-checkout
  • Epson cloud printers for receipts, kitchen tickets and bar orders
  • Kitchen display screens for F&B kitchens that run by station
  • Barcode scanners for retail products

Ask us whether grant support can apply to the hardware in your package.

Local setup and support

Getting the setup right matters more than any single feature. Our Singapore team builds your menu or catalogue with you, sets up payments, printers and staff permissions, and trains your team before you go live. If you are moving from another system, we help bring over your products, customers and balances.

After launch, support is local. The staff interface and kitchen tickets are available in English and Chinese, which helps mixed-language teams get comfortable quickly.

Grants for a POS system

AppsPOS Pte. Ltd. has been a PSG pre-approved vendor and is approved under the EDGE Grant. From 30 September 2026, PSG, EDG and MRA are combined into a single EDGE Grant, and support for adopting digital solutions such as a POS continues under its Automation & Digitalisation area, with support levels that differ by activity. Applications already submitted under PSG continue to be processed. Apply before you sign or pay anything; we provide the quotation you need and confirm the support that applies to your setup.

NEA's Hawkers' Productivity Grant is separate: its last phase closed on 31 March 2026, and it excludes POS licences and POS hardware such as receipt printers.

How to choose a POS system in Singapore

Before you book demos, write down how your business runs today and where it hurts. Then test each option against the same points.

  • Fit: does it have the tools your industry needs, without forcing workarounds?
  • Payments: are the local methods your customers use supported and reconciled?
  • Reliability: what happens if the internet drops mid-service?
  • Growth: can it handle a second outlet, central reporting and stock transfers?
  • Cost: is the first-year total clear, including hardware and payment fees?
  • Support: who trains your staff, and how fast do you get help when something breaks?
  • Grants: which grant support applies, and will the vendor help you apply?

Our cost calculator and cost guide help with the numbers.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best POS system in Singapore?

It depends on your industry and size. F&B outlets need kitchen and table tools, retailers need stock and barcode tools, and salons need appointments and packages. Compare systems on fit, local payments, offline reliability, support and the full first-year cost. Our industry pages explain what to look for in each.

Can one POS work for both F&B and retail?

Yes. A café with a retail shelf, or a bakery selling packaged goods, can run both on the same system. Food orders go to the kitchen, retail items deduct stock by barcode, and everything appears in one set of reports and one Xero sync.

Is ChaChaCha only for small businesses?

No. It suits single outlets and multi-outlet groups alike. Groups can control menus or catalogues centrally, view sales and stock by outlet, transfer stock and use the ERP view at head office. Single outlets can start with one terminal and add more as they grow.

Who is behind ChaChaCha?

ChaChaCha is powered by AppsPOS, built by AppsPOS Pte. Ltd. in Singapore. AppsPOS has served businesses since 2013 and also operates in Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar and Cambodia. The local team supplies hardware, sets up your system and provides support after launch.

Can I get grant support for a POS in my industry?

PSG has covered all industries, including F&B, retail and services. From 30 September 2026, PSG, EDG and MRA are combined into the EDGE Grant, and support for digital solutions continues under its Automation & Digitalisation area, at levels that differ by activity. Applications already submitted under PSG continue to be processed. Ask us which support applies to your business, and apply before you sign or pay anything. Our grant guide covers the details.

Does it work if the internet goes down?

Yes. ChaChaCha is a hybrid POS, so it keeps taking orders and sales if your connection drops, then syncs to the cloud when it returns. Card and e-wallet payments rely on the payment network, so a backup mobile connection at the counter is worth having.

Which accounting software does it connect to?

ChaChaCha integrates with Xero, which is its accounting integration. Sales flow from the POS into your Xero account, so your accountant does not have to re-key figures from daily reports. Payments are reconciled against sales in the POS first, which keeps the numbers that reach Xero clean.
