CRM & Loyalty Programme

Points, stamps, member tiers and targeted offers, built into the POS, with no separate app for customers.

It costs far less to bring back a regular than to win a new customer. Loyalty built into the POS rewards every visit automatically and shows you who your best customers are.

What you get

Points and stamps

Customers earn on every visit, identified by their phone number.

Member tiers

Reward your best customers with better perks.

Targeted offers

Birthday treats, vouchers and "we miss you" offers sent automatically, including by WhatsApp.

Customer insight

Visit frequency, spend and favourite items for each customer.

How the loyalty programme works for your customers

  • At checkout, the customer gives their phone number and agrees to join, with PDPA consent recorded.
  • They receive a welcome voucher to use on their next visit.
  • Every visit earns points or stamps automatically.
  • They can top up an e-wallet and pay from their stored value on later visits.
  • Around their birthday, they receive a birthday privilege.
  • They redeem rewards at the counter or when ordering by QR.

For staff, it is one extra step at checkout: enter the phone number. The POS handles the rest. Points, stamps and balances are shared across all your outlets, so a regular at one branch is recognised at every branch.

Choosing the right loyalty mechanic for your business

Stamps for cafés and bubble tea shops

Simple, visual and easy to understand. Buy a set number of drinks, get one free. It suits frequent, similar-sized purchases.

Points for restaurants and retail

When spend varies from visit to visit, points reward customers in line with what they spend.

Stored value for regulars and salons

Prepaid top-ups suit customers who come back often, such as salon clients or office regulars. You receive the cash up front and they have a reason to return.

Gamified promotions for launches and campaigns

A spin-the-wheel promotion, with prizes such as a free drink or a discount voucher, gives customers something to look forward to and works well for new outlet openings or festive periods.

Start with one mechanic and keep the rules simple. A programme customers can explain to a friend in one sentence gets more sign-ups than a complicated one. You can add more later once you see how members respond.

Using customer data to bring guests back

Every member has a profile showing visits, spend and favourite items. Use it to send the right message to the right people through WhatsApp marketing campaigns.

  • Lapsed customers: a "we miss you" offer to members who have not visited recently.
  • Top spenders: early access to a new menu or a thank-you reward.
  • Birthday month: a treat that brings them in with friends.
  • New members: a reminder to use their welcome voucher.
  • Fans of one item: news when their favourite dish or drink comes back, or when a new flavour launches.

Keep messages short, personal and useful. One relevant offer a month works better than a weekly broadcast that customers learn to ignore.

Under the PDPA, only send marketing to customers who agreed to receive it, and make it easy for them to opt out.

What to measure in your loyalty programme

  • Member sign-ups per week, by outlet and by staff member.
  • Share of sales from members compared with non-members.
  • Repeat visit rate and time between visits.
  • Redemption rate: rewards that are never used are not motivating anyone, so make them easier to reach.
  • Campaign response: visits and sales after each WhatsApp campaign.
  • Outstanding stored value, which you owe to customers and should track.

Staff are the biggest driver of sign-ups. Set a simple target per shift, recognise the staff who ask every customer, and check the sign-up report weekly to see which outlets need a nudge.

Part of one system

CRM & Loyalty shares the same menu, customers and reports as the rest of ChaChaCha, so there’s nothing to sync or re-key. See how it fits your business on our industry pages, or book a demo.

Frequently asked questions

Do customers need an app?

No. Customers are identified by phone number at checkout.

Is it PDPA compliant?

Customers opt in when they join, and you control how their data is used. Make sure your privacy notice covers loyalty sign-ups.

Can loyalty work across outlets?

Yes. Points are shared across all your outlets.

Can customers top up stored value?

Yes. Customers can top up an e-wallet and pay from their balance on later visits. It suits regulars, office crowds and salon clients. Keep track of outstanding balances, since that stored value is money you owe back in products or services.

Can I send WhatsApp promotions to members?

Yes. You can run WhatsApp marketing campaigns to members, such as birthday treats or offers for customers who have not visited in a while. Only message customers who have agreed to receive marketing, and give them an easy way to opt out, in line with the PDPA.
