Disclosure: ChaChaCha publishes this page and is a POS vendor, powered by AppsPOS, so we compete with Rewardly. Rewardly facts come only from Rewardly’s own Singapore website as of September 2026. ChaChaCha facts come from our published feature list.
- Both are Singapore F&B POS systems with QR ordering, self-order kiosks, a kitchen display, loyalty and delivery integration.
- Rewardly is loyalty-led: its LoyaltyOS lists tiers, referral, cashback, pre-paid packages and surveys, and it runs on your own iPad, iPhone or Android device.
- ChaChaCha is kitchen- and counter-led: KDS prioritisation and prep timers, Epson cloud printing, a queue system with SMS, bilingual kitchen tickets and NETS certification.
- This page compares features, not prices.

Rewardly and ChaChaCha both sell POS systems to Singapore F&B businesses, and on paper the feature lists overlap a lot: counter POS, QR ordering, kiosks, a kitchen display, loyalty, payments and GrabFood. The difference is where each puts its weight. Rewardly builds outward from customer loyalty and marketing. ChaChaCha builds outward from the kitchen, the queue and local payment methods, with hardware supplied as part of the package. This page compares the two feature by feature and says plainly where Rewardly is the better fit. For a wider list, see our Rewardly alternatives guide and our best F&B POS system guide.
How we compared (and why not on price)
We used Rewardly’s own website only, linked throughout, and no review-site ratings or quotes. Where the table says “not stated on their website”, we could not find it on the pages we reviewed, which does not mean the feature is missing. We compare features, not prices. Rewardly publishes its plans on its pricing page, while ChaChaCha is quote-based, so a fair price comparison needs a written quote for your own outlet. Our Rewardly pricing explainer walks through its plans, and our POS system cost guide shows how to compare quotes like for like.
Rewardly at a glance
Rewardly’s homepage describes its CommerceOS as a cloud POS for Singapore retail and restaurant businesses, covering sales, payments, inventory, pricing, QR ordering, self-ordering kiosks and outlet control. It lists “Since 2019”, no lock-in, and a free trial. The platform is split into named modules:
- CommerceOS: the POS, Scan-to-Order QR ordering, a self-order kiosk, a KDS and eSignage, and a customer-facing display. Delivery is listed through GrabFood and FoodPanda.
- LoyaltyOS: a CRM connected to the POS, QR ordering and kiosk. Its menu lists tiered membership, loyalty points, vouchers, digital stamps, store credits, pre-paid packages, member referral, cashback, member discounts and surveys.
- PaymentOS (Rewardly Pay): in-store and online payments, pay-by-link, tap-to-pay on a phone (SoftPOS), instalment and subscription payments, and PayNow.
- StockOS: ingredient tracking with stock-in, stock takes and usage of ingredients consumed by products sold.
- AInstein and GoShanon: an AI copilot for menu set-up and insights, and a marketing service for reaching new shoppers.
- Other: a TableReady reservation system for fine dining, bottle parking for bars, and multi-stall sub-accounts for food courts.
Rewardly says it runs on iPads, iPhones and Android tablets or phones and connects with most receipt printers. You can use your own hardware, buy from its shop, or take free hardware leasing on an annual plan. It claims 99.9% uptime, “100% with Offline Mode”.

Loyalty and CRM: Rewardly’s home ground
If loyalty is the main reason you are changing systems, Rewardly deserves a close look. LoyaltyOS offers more programme types than most POS vendors publish: tiered membership, points, digital stamps, store credits, pre-paid packages, referral rewards, cashback and member discounts, plus surveys and feedback. It also promotes payment-linked loyalty, where a customer is recognised from how they pay. For a cafe chain or a bar that wants to reward regulars in several ways at once, that breadth matters.
ChaChaCha’s loyalty and CRM tools cover points and stamps, e-wallet and stored value, vouchers and birthday rewards, and campaigns can go out on WhatsApp, which many Singapore diners already use daily. Stored value is useful for cafes and bakeries with regulars who top up. If you need referral schemes, cashback or tiered memberships specifically, ask us to confirm how they would be set up for your outlet, and ask Rewardly to demonstrate the same scenario.
Kitchen, queues and ordering flow
Both systems send orders from the counter, QR codes and kiosks to a kitchen display. ChaChaCha puts more of its published detail into the kitchen itself: order prioritisation and prep timers on the KDS, station routing, Epson cloud printing to several printers at once, and kitchen tickets in English or Chinese for mixed-language teams. For outlets with a line at the door, ChaChaCha’s queue system sends an SMS when the table is ready and shows numbers on a queue display. Rewardly’s site does not describe a walk-in queue product on the pages we reviewed, so ask them how they handle it if queues matter to you.
Rewardly’s strength on ordering is flexibility across formats: food courts with several stalls under one account, events with portable terminals, and specialty food shops with weight-embedded barcode labels. If your business runs pop-ups or roadshows alongside a fixed outlet, its rental plan for events is worth asking about.
Payments, hardware and offline mode
Rewardly offers its own payment stack, including tap-to-pay on a phone, pay-by-link and instalment payments. It also lets you run on your own devices, which suits small operators who already own an iPad or Android tablet. ChaChaCha takes a packaged approach: hardware is supplied by AppsPOS, including a self-order kiosk with a built-in card terminal, and payments run through DBS, UOB and 2C2P with PayNow, PayLah!, NETS, cards and GrabPay. Split payments and automated reconciliation are included in the feature list. See our POS payments page for details.
NETS publishes its list of certified POS vendors on its NETS POS page, so you can check any vendor on your shortlist there, including us.
On connectivity, Rewardly says it offers an offline mode. ChaChaCha’s web and hybrid POS keeps taking orders if the internet drops and syncs later. Test offline behaviour in both demos, including printing and card payments.
Grants and support
Grants change on 30 September 2026. Enterprise Singapore’s EDGE Grant page says PSG, EDG and MRA cease on 29 September 2026 and new applications go under the EDGE Grant, with support of up to 70% for SMEs and levels that differ by activity. Support is paid on a reimbursement basis once the activity is completed and paid for. AppsPOS has been a PSG pre-approved vendor and is approved under the EDGE Grant. Our POS grant guide and EDGE Grant guide explain how to apply. Always check eligibility before you sign or pay, because grants cannot usually be claimed after purchase.
Rewardly’s homepage positions its subscription as not needing a government grant, with low upfront cost. Its Professional plan lists 24/7 tech support, and its Growth plan lists email support. For ChaChaCha support hours and service levels, ask us to put them in your quote.
Which fits your business?
Rewardly is likely the better fit if
- Loyalty is your priority and you want tiers, referral, cashback, store credits and pre-paid packages in one CRM.
- You want to run on hardware you already own, or start on a monthly plan with no lock-in and a free trial.
- You run events, roadshows or food court stalls and want a rental option.
- You want an open API or a branded native app at enterprise level.
ChaChaCha may be the better fit if
- Your kitchen is the bottleneck and you want prioritisation, prep timers and printing to several stations.
- You have queues at peak and want SMS alerts and a queue display.
- Your team works in Chinese as well as English.
- Many customers pay by NETS or PayLah!, or you want stored value and WhatsApp marketing.
- You prefer one supplier for hardware and software, or want recipe-level stock deduction and Xero integration.
Questions to ask in both demos
- Show a busy lunch order moving from QR code to kitchen display to collection. How are delays flagged?
- What happens to orders, printing and card payments when the internet drops for ten minutes?
- Which loyalty types are included in the plan you are quoting, and which cost extra?
- Who owns the customer data, and can you export it if you leave?
- What hardware is included, who repairs it, and how fast?
