Disclosure: ChaChaCha is a POS vendor, powered by AppsPOS. Some options below compete with us, and some also sell POS systems. We only used information published on each provider’s own website as of September 2026.

  • TableCheck is a reservation, table management and guest CRM platform. Restaurants run it through a dashboard, TableCheck Manager, with deposits, cancellation fees, reminders and POS integration.
  • We could not find published TableCheck pricing; it offers demos. SevenRooms and Chope also leave merchant prices off the pages we reviewed, while Dinlr and Qashier publish theirs.
  • Restaurants look at alternatives for published pricing, reservations built into their POS, or a marketplace that brings new diners.
  • If you already use TableCheck, check whether its deposit, reminder and POS settings solve your problem before you switch.

Many people searching for “TableCheck Manager for restaurants” already use it and want to get more from it. Others are weighing it against other booking systems. This guide starts with a fair summary of what TableCheck does and how to use it well. It then compares alternatives for Singapore restaurants on booking channels, deposits and no-show controls, POS integration and published pricing. For a wider comparison of reservation systems, see our best restaurant reservation system guide. This page focuses on the TableCheck decision.

How we compared (and who wrote this)

ChaChaCha is a point-of-sale system for Singapore F&B businesses, powered by AppsPOS Pte. Ltd., a Singapore POS company operating since 2013. Our rules for this page:

  • Provider websites only. Every feature and price comes from the provider’s own site, linked where used.
  • “Not stated on their website” means we could not find it on the pages we reviewed, not that the feature is missing.
  • No ranking. Options are grouped by the restaurant they suit best.

What TableCheck does

TableCheck’s about page describes a reservation and table management system with a customer database, SMS notifiers, phone integration, POS integration and reporting. It also runs a diner-facing booking portal, and bookings made there flow straight into TableCheck Manager. The company says it serves more than 7,400 clients in over 25 countries and lists a Singapore office at Duo Tower on Fraser Street.

On its booking features page, TableCheck lists:

  • Bookings from multiple channels, including Google, Facebook and Instagram, in one dashboard.
  • A branded booking page for your website and social media, with no cover fees.
  • Cancellation policies, online prepayment and cancellation fees to protect against no-shows.
  • Rules for large parties and travellers, and automatic reminders asking guests to confirm.
  • Booking across a restaurant group, with real-time availability and suggested alternative times.
  • Bookable dining courses and packages, promo codes, and online pickup and delivery.

Its integrations page describes POS integration that brings in guest spend history and real-time table status. It also lists an open API, hiding personal data depending on staff level, an ISO/IEC 27001 compliant datacenter, and a payment gateway with a fixed monthly fee and no markup on transaction fees. TableCheck says it needs no new hardware and runs on your existing PC, tablet or smartphone. Its restaurant page invites operators to book a demo; we could not find published pricing.

That is a strong feature set, especially for fine dining, hotels and groups that take many advance bookings.

Already using TableCheck Manager? Check these settings first

Before switching, check whether the problem is the tool or the way it is set up:

  • No-shows still high? Review whether deposits or card guarantees apply to the right slots, party sizes and days, and whether reminder confirmations are switched on.
  • Double handling at the host stand? Check whether your POS is one of the systems TableCheck integrates with, and whether real-time table status is enabled.
  • Too many phone bookings? Make sure the booking link is on your Google Business Profile, website and Instagram.
  • Guest data not used? Check tags, guest notes and marketing opt-ins, and make sure staff record allergies and occasions.

TableCheck’s merchant help centre and your account manager are the right places to confirm these settings. If the answers still leave gaps, the alternatives below are worth a look.

Why restaurants look at TableCheck alternatives

  • Published pricing. Some owners want to see the monthly cost before a sales call.
  • One system at the host stand. Smaller restaurants may prefer reservations and walk-in queues inside the POS they already use.
  • New diners. A direct booking tool serves guests who already know you. A marketplace can bring in new diners, usually on different commercial terms.
  • Walk-in heavy trade. Casual restaurants may need a strong queue and waitlist more than advance reservations.

Alternatives, grouped by who they suit

Best for groups focused on guest marketing: SevenRooms

SevenRooms’ reservations page lists branded reservations with Google, Facebook and Instagram booking without a cover fee per booking. It also lists credit card holds and cancellation fees, pre-arrival reminders with two-way SMS, a virtual waitlist, availability across a group’s locations, and linking POS data to reservation history. Its pricing page offers packages by quote.

Best for restaurants wanting a published monthly price: Dinlr Reservation

Dinlr’s reservation page lists unlimited covers with no cover fees, online deposits, automatic SMS and email reminders, two-way SMS, and a waitlist that guests join by iPad or QR code. Its pricing page lists Dinlr Reservation at S$89 a month per location, billed annually. Dinlr also sells a POS, so reservations and orders can sit with one vendor.

Best for small restaurants wanting bookings inside an all-in-one plan: Qashier

Qashier’s pricing page includes bookings in its $5-a-day plan (excluding GST), alongside POS, QR ordering and loyalty, with reservations and appointments syncing into the POS. Deposit and reminder details for bookings are not stated on the pricing page.

Best for reaching new diners: Chope

Chope’s Singapore site is a diner marketplace listing more than 3,500 places, with Chope-Dollars rewards for diners, and invites restaurants to get listed. Merchant pricing and features are not stated on the pages we could access, so ask Chope directly. We compare other reservation options in our guide to Chope alternatives.

Best as an extra booking channel: Reserve with Google

Google’s Business Profile help explains that you can take bookings through a partner provider and show a booking button on your profile. Google notes that your provider might charge you, and that the waitlist feature for restaurants needs a third-party Reserve with Google provider. This is a channel, not a full system.

Best for walk-in-heavy restaurants that want one POS: ChaChaCha

ChaChaCha’s POS includes table management, split bills and tabs, and a queue system with SMS notifications and a digital queue display. It also has QR ordering, a kitchen display and loyalty. For advance reservations, deposits and reminders, ask us to confirm what fits your restaurant. Pricing is quote-based.

Deposits, reminders and no-show controls

Most providers above publish some mix of three tools: card guarantees or deposits, reminders that ask guests to confirm, and cancellation fees. What matters is how flexibly you can apply them: by day, time, party size or special event. Test these rules in a demo using your own busiest nights. Our guide to reducing restaurant no-shows covers deposit levels, wording and how to handle disputes.

POS integration: why it matters

A reservation system that talks to your POS can show a guest’s past spend, update table status as bills close and link covers to revenue. Without it, hosts guess when tables will free up. Ask each provider to name the POS systems it integrates with in Singapore, what data moves in each direction, and who supports the link when it breaks. Our POS integrations guide explains what to test. If you also take online orders, our Oddle alternatives guide compares platforms that combine ordering and reservations.

Switching reservation systems safely

  1. Export your guest database, including notes and marketing consents, and check the format with the new provider.
  2. Move future bookings carefully. Decide a cut-over date and honour every existing booking and deposit.
  3. Update every booking link: website, Google Business Profile, Instagram and any marketplace listings.
  4. Handle guest data under the PDPA. Transfer only what you need, and make sure the new provider’s contract covers security and retention.
  5. Train hosts on the new floor view, deposits and waitlist before the first busy weekend.

If you want table management, queues and ordering in one POS, talk to us about ChaChaCha. Ask every provider, including us, to confirm pricing and features in writing.

Frequently asked questions

What is TableCheck Manager?

TableCheck Manager is the restaurant-side dashboard of TableCheck's reservation platform. According to TableCheck, it brings bookings from its diner portal, your website and social channels into one view, with table management, guest profiles, prepayments, cancellation fees and reminders. Bookings made on TableCheck's diner portal appear in it in real time.

How much does TableCheck cost in Singapore?

TableCheck does not publish pricing on the pages we reviewed; it invites restaurants to book a demo. Its integrations page mentions a payment gateway with a fixed monthly fee and no markup on transaction fees. Ask TableCheck for a written quote covering subscription, payment fees and any add-ons before comparing it with alternatives.

Which TableCheck alternatives publish their prices?

Among the options we reviewed, Dinlr lists Dinlr Reservation at S$89 a month per location, billed annually, and Qashier includes bookings in its $5-a-day plan, excluding GST. SevenRooms offers packages by quote, and Chope merchant pricing is not stated on the pages we could access. Always confirm current prices directly.

Does TableCheck integrate with POS systems?

TableCheck says it integrates with POS systems to bring in guest spend history and average spend, and to support real-time table status. It links to a list of supported POS systems on its integrations page. Check that your specific POS is listed and ask what data moves in each direction before relying on it.

Should I switch from TableCheck to a POS with reservations built in?

It depends on your trade. Restaurants with many advance bookings, deposits and group venues may be better served by a dedicated platform. Walk-in-heavy restaurants may prefer queues and tables inside the POS. List your top three problems, test each option against them, and ask vendors to confirm features in writing.
